摘要

A certain petrochemical company currently has two coke towers, which were put into use in 1998 and have been in service for over 25 years, and are in an extended service state. The bottom cylinder of the coke tower shows obvious bulging, which affects its safety. If it is scrapped immediately, it will inevitably cause losses to the enterprise. It is necessary to establish a bulging finite element analysis model for the coke tower, analyze the impact of bulging on the safety performance of the coke tower, and consider the continued operation of the coke tower from the perspective of safety and economy, while ensuring safety. The coke tower is made of 20 g material and is subjected to high-temperature cyclic loading, so the influence of fatigue creep needs to be considered; The medium contains sulfides, and the influence of sulfide stress corrosion cracking needs to be considered. This article conducts thermal structural finite element analysis on the coke tower, obtains the stress distribution of the coke tower, and evaluates hypothetical virtual defects from the perspective of sulfide stress cracking; Evaluate the remaining service life of coke towers from the perspective of fatigue creep interaction. The analysis results indicate that the coke tower has a remaining service life of 2 years through virtual defect evaluation.
