Multi-modal Semantic Resource Allocation

In Chaps. 4 and 5 , we introduced the robust SemCom system. SemCom has emerged for 6G and future applications. Unlike traditional bit-level communication, which emphasizes the transmission of raw bits, AI-driven SemCom focuses on transmitting meaningful content. By extracting and transmitting semantic information, it can significantly reduce unnecessary data transmission. Additionally, its integration of prior and background knowledge further enhances the accuracy and efficiency of data delivery. Consequently, SemCom is increasingly seen as a key solution to address the limitations of traditional UAV communication networks.
