Over the past several decades, research efforts in wireless communications spanning from the first generation (1G) to the fifth generation (5G) have concentrated on achieving accurate and efficient signal transmission between transmitters and receivers. Many high-capacity and low-latency communication services are realized by diverse advanced wireless communication technologies. However, wireless communications based on the Shannon information theory is faced with several bottlenecks.
