Rheumatic Diseases in Somalia, Djibouti, and the Union of Comoros

Healthcare systems in Africa are underdeveloped, particularly in low-income countries such as Somalia, Djibouti, and the Union of Comoros. As a result, the burden of musculoskeletal conditions is likely to be underestimated due to limited resources and inaccessible data. In this chapter, we provide an overview of the three countries (Somalia, Djibouti, and the Union of Comoros) and available data on musculoskeletal conditions.
