Building upon the theoretical discussions and empirical analyses presented in Chaps. 1 through 5 , this final chapter synthesizes the study’s core insights and advances a forward-looking reflection on the role of artistic representation in reshaping the city imagery of Macau. This chapters have examined the historical evolution of Macau’s urban space, the multilayered structures of its urban memory, and the dynamics of urban transformation under the forces of globalization and digital mediation. Moreover, the artistic practices analyzed in the previous chapters—particularly those involving localized creation, cross-media expression, and artistic translation—demonstrate that city imagery is neither static nor singular, but continually produced through embodied perception, cultural translation, and symbolic interpretation.
