Discussion and Comparison

This chapter presents a comparative analysis and discussion of use-wear on quartzite artifacts. It focuses on exploring the morphological features and distribution patterns of both use-wear and hafting wear, while also elucidating the key factors that govern the formation and manifestation of such traces. Furthermore, a cross-material comparative study is conducted between quartzite and other raw materials, aiming to advance the understanding of the function and utilization of quartzite artifacts during prehistory.
