New ways of incorporating waste products into the production of concrete have gained much attention, particularly considering the growing demand for environmentally friendly building materials. Dumping tires can be a challenge because they are bulky and non-biodegradable, but recycling used tires makes them an environmentally-friendly solution for one of the world’s most challenging environmental problems. This research investigates the possibility of utilizing tire-derived materials, such as crumb rubber in particular, to fabricate lightweight and high-strength concrete. The industry becomes increasingly interested in finding creative ways to use waste products for concrete production, as the construction sector is heading toward a more sustainable design. The revolutionary potential of recycling tire trash in the quest for sustainable construction techniques is highlighted in this study. Three concrete mixtures with water-to-cement ratios of 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 were created. In these concrete mixes, the fine aggregate was substituted with crumb rubber at five different levels, ranging from 0 to 10, with increments of 2.5%. Additionally, the study demonstrates outstanding outcomes in creating strong, lightweight concrete with varying percentages of natural sand substitution. The replacement of natural sand with crumb rubber reduced concrete density by up to 15%, qualifying the mixes as lightweight concrete suitable for non-structural applications.
