Basic Identities

This work is devoted to definite integrals involving the product \(f(x)\varphi (x)\) of two functions. The theorems used for the approximate evaluation of these integrals are generalisation of those used for the approximation of sums of the form \(\sum \nolimits _{i=0}^{i=n}a_i b_i\) which I will now recall.
