摘要

These days, there is still debate regarding the Nb2O5 crystal structure, particularly with regard to the T-phase. The T-phase has been shown to have a broad range of  applications. It has been proposed in various kinds of studies that the T-phase may crystallize in orthorhombic structures. The most popular process for creating T-Nb2O5 is sol-gel. Because of this, present work provides insights into the T-phase crystal structure. To do this, we apply the thermal decomposition approach with capping agent polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). In our investigations, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman analysis give the structural confirmation of the samples. Dielectric property measurement reveals the decrement in dielectric constant with increase in frequency. It is observed that Polyvinylpyrrolidone, or PVP, is a polymer that acts as a non-ionic surfactant, stabilizing, preventing agglomeration, and stopping unchecked development throughout a process that is confirmed by X-ray diffraction and Raman whereas dielectric measurements confirmed the semiconducting nature of the sample.
