Investigations on Structural and Optical Properties of Thermally Decomposed Co-Doped ZnO Nanoparticles

Impact of doping on structural, morphology, optical, and electrical properties of well-characterized and thermally decomposed “Zn1−xCoxO, x = 0.0, 0.01, 0.03, and 0.05, nanoparticles (NPs) was examined using various experimental techniques. The single-phase nature and spherical shape of the prepared NPs and Co-doping were clearly confirmed. The bandgap decreases with increase in x. Their zeta potential data suggest gradual improvement in dispersibility with x. The details have been discussed. In summary, this work offers a very effective thermal degradation production method for Co-doped ZnO nanoparticles, which has several useful applications.”
