The profiles of the leaders in this book provide a rich source of information about oriental leadership and, therefore, enable constructing an initial conceptualization of educational leadership in the Global South. The chapter suggests major elements of this type of educational leadership and encourages researchers to investigate this type of leadership based on these elements. The chapter ends with a comparison of the leadership models suggested in each chapter and with an analysis of western versus Eastern constructions of educational leadership.
