摘要

To reveal the dynamic process of gas migration in oil, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods are commonly used to simulate the gas transport process in oil. Currently, simulation models for transformer fault gas transport are lacking, and there is insufficient experimental verification. Therefore, this paper establishes a simulation model for a 10 kV transformer, considering the actual structure of the transformer, and sets up a scaled-down transformer test platform. The gas transport process in the oil under forced oil circulation is investigated through both simulation and experimental studies. The results show that during the gas transport process, there are localized high-concentration gas distributions at the top of the main oil tank and near the outlet of the circulation pipeline, which are ideal gas monitoring points. The research provides a reference for fault gas location tracing in transformers and the distribution of gas sensors in oil.
