A Wideband Inverter Square Wave Power Supply for Frequency Characteristic Testing of EVT

Aiming at the frequency characteristic testing requirements of electronic voltage transformers (EVT), a wideband inverter square wave power supply has been developed. Tests were conducted on an EVT driven by this wideband inverter square wave power supply, collecting the primary input and secondary output voltage signals. Test results indicate that in the low-frequency band (10Hz - 50Hz), the decibel difference between input and output voltages exhibits significant attenuation. For the medium-to-high frequency band (50Hz - 10kHz), the output signal characteristics become more regular, and the decibel difference stabilizes around −6 dB.The power supply provides an effective testing means for accurately evaluating the frequency characteristics of EVT. Its test results hold significant reference value for optimizing EVT performance in application scenarios such as power system harmonic analysis and variable-frequency signal monitoring of electronic equipment.
