Methodology and Case Study on Suitability Evaluation of Wind/Solar Resource Development Along Expressways
摘要
This paper evaluate the suitability of developing wind and solar energy resources along the expressways. It establishes a wind/solar resource suitability evaluation method based on meteorological, geographical and other environmental factors, proposes classification criteria for relevant factors, and on this basis, evaluates the suitability of wind/solar resources along the expressways around the Junggar Basin in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The results show that the solar energy resources in this region are abundant, while the wind energy resources are relatively weak. The terrain along the expressways is flat with small ground undulations, and most sections are at an altitude of 400–600 m. A large number of sections pass through low-population-density areas such as deserts and gobi, which have excellent conditions for the development of wind and solar energy resources.
