Minimally Invasive Sacroiliac Joint Fusion Experience
摘要
Sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJD) is a common yet frequently underdiagnosed etiology of chronic low back pain, accounting for an estimated 15–30% of cases. Diagnosis requires a structured approach, combining a characteristic clinical history with a physical examination notable for pain reproduction with specific provocation maneuvers, followed by image-guided diagnostic injections to confirm the joint as the primary pain generator. The management of SIJD follows a stepwise algorithm, beginning with conservative care and progressing to interventional pain procedures. For patients with debilitating pain refractory to these measures, minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion (MIS SIJF) is a safe, effective, and evidence-based surgical intervention.
