Revision Cervical Disc Replacement: Technique and Pitfalls
摘要
Cervical disc replacement serves as an alternative to anterior cervical discectomy and fusion in selected patients, aiming to preserve segmental motion and restore disc height while simultaneously removing pathologies that cause compression of the neural elements. As with other surgical procedures, it carries potential risks and complications. Surgeons performing this procedure should be well aware of these risks and adequately prepared to address them, including performing revision surgery if necessary.
