摘要

Traditional open procedures, characterized by long midline incisions and extensive paraspinal muscle dissection, have long been the standard for treating Spinal Deformity (ASD). While this wide exposure provides excellent anatomical visualization, it comes at a high cost. Extensive soft tissue stripping can lead to muscle ischemia, denervation, and subsequent atrophy, contributing to significant postoperative pain and hindering rehabilitation and long-term functional recovery [1].
