Study on Electrical Decomposition Properties of New Environmentally Friendly Gas Bistrifluoromethyl Sulfide
摘要
Sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) is widely applied in the electric power industry. However, it has also brought serious environmental problems. Since there is no good alternative gas for SF6, a new gas, bistrifluoromethyl sulfide (CF3SCF3), was found through machine learning. In this work, the electrical decomposition experiment of CF3SCF3 was carried out to investigate its decomposition characteristics. Following the power frequency discharge decomposition experiment, it was found that after 200 breakdowns of the CF3SCF3, the decomposition of CF3SCF3 occurred. Subsequent to 400 breakdowns, the presence of CF4, C2F6, C3F8, CF3S3CF3, and CF3SCF2CF3 was observed. It was observed that after 2000 breakdowns, the breakdown voltage of the CF3SCF3 remained relatively constant. Furthermore, in comparison with the C4F7N-CO2 mixed gas, the power frequency discharge decomposition products of CF3SCF3 gas are comparatively limited. Through this experiment, the electrical decomposition performance of CF3SCF3 was further studied, and the foundation for its future application was laid. In addition, it is of great significance for fault diagnosis and daily maintenance of power equipment.
