Stability Analysis of Wind Farm and VSC-HVDC Interconnected Systems Incorporating Frequency Coupling Effects
摘要
Sub/supersynchronous oscillation issues readily arise in wind farms integrated via VSC-HVDC transmission systems due to complex control interactions between wind turbine converters and VSC stations. This paper proposes a wideband frequency-coupling admittance measurement method to characterize the impedance properties of different wind farm types connected through VSC-HVDC systems using equivalent SISO impedance models. The equivalent SISO impedances on both wind farm and VSC-HVDC sides are measured under varying WFVSC control parameters, enabling quantitative stability impact analysis of control loops on the grid-connected system. Finally, oscillation risk scenarios are replicated in MATLAB/Simulink, validating the proposed admittance measurement method and the stability analysis framework incorporating frequency coupling effects for wind farm-VSC-HVDC interconnected systems.
