Research on Calculation Method of Elastic Suspension Cable Installation Space Considering Double Constraints of Line and Cantilever Arm

To ensure that the movement of the elastic suspension cable after the pantograph passes is not interfered with by other components, it is necessary to determine the installation space of the elastic suspension cable. This paper fully considers the spatial constraints of the cantilever arm and the influence of the curve radius of the high-speed railway track line, and proposes a calculation method for the installation space of the elastic suspension cable. Firstly, according to the geometric relationship, the conditions that the spatial position of the cantilever arm and the contact suspension should meet are proposed. On this basis, the constraints of the geometric parameters of the cantilever arm and the bending radius of the track line on the safety space of the elastic suspension cable are analyzed through the static calculation of the contact suspension and the method of establishing a symmetrical analysis model. The results show that the cantilever arm structure constrains the horizontal installation space of the elastic suspension cable by limiting the tension of the elastic suspension cable, and the line constrains the vertical installation space by limiting the horizontal distance between the elastic suspension cable and the catenary.
