A Charging Pricing Strategy of Charging Station Considering Satisfaction of EV Owners Based on GWO Algorithm
摘要
The disorderly charging of a large number of electric vehicles (EVs) may cause severe fluctuations in the power grid load, endangering the safety and stability of the power grid. This paper proposes a charging pricing strategy for the charging station (CS) that considers satisfaction of EV owners and couples the charging price with the charging power to achieve orderly charging of EVs. The charging price of each time period is the decision variable, with the aim of maximizing the benefits of the charging station while also considering the satisfaction of EV owners with charging costs and charging rates. The grey wolf optimizer (GWO) algorithm is used to solve the proposed optimization problem. This paper compares the proposed strategy with two traditional pricing strategies: fixed charging price strategy and fixed revenue strategy which indicates a pricing strategy with a fixed higher value than the electricity price from the grid operator. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method provides lower charging price and more charging power during periods with lower electricity price and makes the CS earn more profits.
