A Trip to My Hometown

One afternoon in October 2007, the doorbell rang suddenly, and to my surprise, it was Mr. and Mrs. Cai Liwu, professors from the Art Department of Yixing Light Industry College. They had come specifically to invite me to participate in an exhibition of renowned artists from Wuxi and Yixing, which was scheduled for November 24th and 27th. They drove all the way to discuss and select two of my works for the exhibition. However, all my works were left in Beijing after the Beijing exhibition, and I only had five small paintings in Hangzhou. So I immediately selected four of them and handed them over to Professor Cai Liwu to take with him.
