Second Dismissal

On 30th December, 1982, I was visited by a Mr. Pan in my office. He told me with a serious face, “Mr. Ding, according to the decision from the school committee, you can no longer work here. You should plan your departure today and from tomorrow, being New Year’s Day, you don’t need to come anymore.”
