The Gorgeous Jianmen

Every summer and winter break, headmasters of middle schools and would-be teachers met at a market in Shaocheng Park. Headmasters made their choice of potential employees at a tea shop while the teachers presented themselves at another nearby tea store. It was the most interesting place to get hired. I was attracted to the area because of the gorgeous view of Jianmen, and thus accepted two offers, one from Jiange Normal Training Project and the other from Jiange Middle School. I taught Chinese at the Normal Training Project and art in Jiange Middle School.
