Prospects for the Application of Digital Technologies to Ensure Food Security
摘要
The study analyzes the impact of digital technologies on the transformation of the agro-industrial complex in the context of ensuring global food security. The application of remote sensing, sensor systems, the Internet of Things, big data analysis, and artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency of agricultural production is studied. It is revealed that the use of agrodrones and predictive analytics contributes to accurate monitoring of crop conditions and reduction of crop losses. It has been established that machine learning algorithms make it possible to predict crop yields and generate recommendations for the rational application of fertilizers. An understanding of the key areas of digitalization in agrochemistry as an element of sustainable agricultural development has been formed. A rationale has been developed for the need to integrate genetic and agroecological data to accelerate selection processes. The use of the Internet of Things platform for continuous real-time monitoring of agroecosystems has been substantiated to optimize water and energy consumption. A description of engineering solutions that ensure the adaptation of agrosystems to climatic and biotic threats is presented. In general, the study characterizes digitalization as a strategically important tool for modernizing the agricultural sector and forming a sustainable food system of the future.
