摘要

This chapter makes an attempt to sense the current disruptive moment. Observing the failure of the international rules-based order in the wake of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, we raise three big questions. The question of ‘peace’, the question of ‘climate’, and the questions raised by the advent of Generative AI. It explores how these problems are connected with contemporary knowledge systems; thereby, unravelling the underlying colonial ontologies on which the modern/colonial world is built. It poses key epistemological questions, contemplating the purpose of knowledge and knowledge production. Subsequently, it reimagines knowledge creation and presents our goals for the Asian commons. This chapter introduces ‘the Pluriversity Lahore’, a project of the Critical Peace Studies society that enacts live research and living research communities in the rapidly changing world.
