New Strategies of Plastic Surgeries for Burn Patients

In this chapter, the author elaborates on his innovations in post-burn plastic surgeries, including a new strategy for thick split-thickness skin donor sites repair with autologous scalp, which greatly shortens healing time and significantly alleviates scar hyperplasia. Other innovations include staged scar excision and delayed grafting after NPWT to prerelease contracture and to promote granulation.
