New Techniques for Burn Wound Care

In this chapter, the author elaborates on the self-designed strategies such as in vivo cultivation of autologous skin graft, prefabricated large graft sheet (PLGS) for extensive burn wounds, and fresh allogenic scalp for pediatric burn wounds. Additionally, it introduces the author’s newly developed excision and grafting strategies, an enhanced hemostasis technique, as well as new strategies of wound type-based and wound location-specific management.
