Building upon the analytical foundation established in the previous chapter, this chapter shifts the focus to the broader concept of regional community-building. It evaluates the impact of visa governance on Global South regional organizations and key sectors—including trade, commerce, and tourism—within the broader framework of regional cooperation. In this chapter, the analysis proceeds from three dimensions—international, social, and civil interests—while also incorporating national political, security, and economic considerations. The ultimate aim is to promote policy, infrastructure, trade, finance and people-to-people ties among the countries of the “Global South”, we will work together to build a community of shared interests, shared responsibilities and shared future featuring mutual political trust, economic integration and cultural inclusiveness. The concept of the above-mentioned community not only fully illustrates the “Global South” policy brought about by the tangible governance outcomes. It can also form a better cohesion between the countries involved in the “Global South”.
