Protocol for First out-Patient Visit After Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

Following hospital discharge post-cardiac operation, patients will be evaluated in nursing, pediatric cardiology, and surgical clinics. Hospital course, medications, and any issues will be reviewed and managed accordingly. The following stepwise protocol summarizes the most important issues that should be checked and evaluated during the first outpatient clinic visit in the individual clinics post-cardiac surgery.
