Management of Renal Problems and Complications in Patients with CHD

A wide range of cardiovascular-related renal problems can exist in children, which might be one of the key causes in morbidity and mortality. These renal issues necessitate a detailed clinical nephrological evaluation in pre-, peri-, and post-cardiac surgical evaluation. This chapter focuses on information that can help the pediatric nephrologist and cardiologist during the evaluation of the most common associated renal problems in cardiac patients, including clinical features in specific syndromes shared between renal and cardiac patients.
