Management of Chylothorax
摘要
Chylothorax is the accumulation of chyle in the pleural cavity, usually develops after disruption of the thoracic duct along its intrathoracic route. In the majority of cases, this rupture is secondary to trauma (including cardiothoracic surgeries). There are other causes for chylothorax like central venous thrombosis, high venous pressure, and congenital.
