Management of Kawasaki Disease
摘要
Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute childhood febrile illness that is characterized by skin rash, muco-cutaneous inflammation, lymphadenopathy, and systemic inflammation of medium-sized arteries, including the coronary arteries. Early diagnosis and treatment are important to prevent possible damage to the coronary arteries and subsequent heart muscle damage. It usually affects children 1–5 years but any age can be affected.
