Pacemaker
摘要
Pacemakers are mainly implanted to treat bradycardia; however, extended therapy using cardiac stimulation has been utilized for other purposes as well, e.g., cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) with biventricular pacing for heart failure patients, and occasionally for overdrive pacing. Pacemakers have been implanted for anti-tachycardia pacing (ATP) in selected patients with congenital heart disease.
