Advanced Pediatric Cardiac Imaging: Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT)
摘要
Advanced diagnostics recently are chiefly non-invasive, and cardiac computed tomography (CT) is progressively used as an adjunct to echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging. Cardiac CT has rapidly advanced and radiation doses have been dramatically reduced. It provides a lower-risk, high-quality imaging alternative to diagnostic cardiac catheterization or CMR imaging and has been increasingly utilized in different types of congenital heart disease (CHD).
