  There are numerous ways to idealise a structure. But, appropriate modelling techniques has to be followed to get a solution for the problem. This chapter discusses various types of elements, loads and boundary conditions available in FEASTSMT software and provides an overview of correct way for modelling and provides some techniques to simplify the modelling procedures.
