Manufacturing Methods of Materials for Cardiac Implant

In Chap. 3 , a variety of medical devices with different application scenarios have been introduced, including stents, artificial heart valves, vascular prosthesis, and tissue engineering scaffolds. Furthermore, the techniques that involve fabrication of cardiac devices from raw materials have also been discussed according to the classification of materials (metallic, inorganic, and polymeric materials) in this chapter.
