Nanomaterials can promote wound healing and tissue regeneration in animals. Nanofiber scaffolds and dressings can create a favorable environment for cell growth and tissue regeneration. Nanoparticles can also be used to deliver growth factors and therapeutic agents directly to the injured tissues, enhancing the healing process. Nanoparticles with antimicrobial properties can combat drug-resistant bacteria and reduce the need for antibiotics in veterinary medicine. These nanoparticles can disrupt the bacterial cell membrane or inhibit their growth, providing an alternative approach to controlling infections. Nanotechnology can contribute to improving animal nutrition and ensuring food safety. Nanoencapsulation of nutrients can enhance their bioavailability and stability, allowing for efficient nutrient delivery to animals. Nanosensors can be employed to detect contaminants and toxins in animal feed, ensuring the safety and quality of the food supply.
