摘要

This Chapter focuses on the practical application of interconnected norms to the crimes and offences within the ICC jurisdiction. It explains how this theoretical concept interplays with the elements of crimesElements of crimes of concrete international core crimes, such as persecution as the crime against humanity and the crime of aggression as the leadership crimeLeadership crime. This Chapter proposes an additional categorisation of sanctioned norms that might be advisable in dealing with the complex, twofold structure of war crimes and crimes against humanity under which the general (contextual) and specific elements are distinguished.
