In the following study, I aim to describe the legal backgroundLegal background which enabled the constructionConstruction of the Hungarian technical border barrier, the construction process, and how the completed structure and systems are operated. The structures and systems I present are currently operational and imperative in the protection of Hungary against illegal immigration, therefore no specificities can be shared beyond the presented. The goal of my study is to decide whether the border lock can be improved, and its efficiency increased. I aim to present my answer based on personal experiences, statistics, and the analysis of available literature. It can be concluded that in order to operate effectively, you have to remain highly responsive to constantly changing challenges.
