City Sustainability: Driving Ukraine’s Post-war Reconstruction

The article is dedicated to developing practical approaches to effective socio-economic development of Ukraine post-war based on the concept of sustainable development. The research substantiates that sustainable development is the foundation of post-war reconstruction in Ukraine. Building upon previous studies and legislative acts on Reconstruction of Ukraine post-war, a set of indicators has been developed, which can serve as a useful tool for determining indicators reflecting not only the state of cities under normal conditions but also their condition post-war and the need for recovery. The obtained results serve as a basis for the development and implementation of specific managerial decisions, substantiation of strategic directions, and mechanisms for ensuring sustainable development of the city.
