Kepler and Galileo

The chapter deals with relationships between the work of Kepler and that of Galileo. Topics discussed include cosmology, the New Star of 1604, the telescope, comets and Kepler’s defence of Tycho Brahe (1625). An Appendix contains English translations of letters exchanged between Galileo and Kepler in 1597.
