Theoretical Basis of DPC-STEM Imaging of Magnetic States

The imaging theories of differential phase-contrast (DPC) STEM are described in Chap. 35 . Shibata’s group in University of Tokyo recently succeeded in detection of magnetic statesMagnetic states in an α-Fe2O3 crystal[aut]Kohno, Y. (Kohno et al., Nature 602:234, 2022). In this chapter, we look at some details of the imaging theory.
