Traditional and extended techniques for the right hand (RH) including the palm and knuckles were addressed extensively in The Techniques of Guitar Playing, Chapter 1.8.1 Therefore this chapter serves to enhance a particular set of analogs to extend and broaden the discourse on these techniques and also address a key aspect of e-guitar performance: the use of the plectrum or pick.
