C.G. Jung was born in Kesswil, Switzerland in 1875, into a family with a traditional Swiss Reformed Church background, of German descent, mainly constituted of scientists, doctors and theologians. He was brought up as an only child until his ninth birthday, when his sister Trudi was born. From a young age on, Jung demonstrated a strong connection to his inner world, filled with a vast array of inner experiences, dreams, fantasies, and visions that accompanied him until his death.
