Chemistry of the Model Society
摘要
A society without selfishness, envy, meanness, and corruption, without rich and poor, without favored and despised, a society of diligent beings living in peace and understanding, in which everyone knows their duties and is willing to sacrifice their life for others. This is the ideal society envisioned by idealistic philosophers, religious leaders, writers, and other good people. Thousands have given their lives for this society without ever experiencing it. In real life, this society of Homo sapiens does not exist. In nature, however, it is not a chimera. This is how the colonies of social insects such as bees, wasps, ants, and termites live. For their astonishing perfection, humans may rightly envy them. The lives of these insects have always aroused human curiosity. Generations of scholars have entered their mysterious world and marveled at their perfection.
