Arthroscopic Capsulolabral Repair. Surgical Technique
摘要
Arthroscopic Bankart repair is a widely used surgical technique for the management of anterior shoulder instability. The best indication for this procedure is a young subject with low-demand activities that presents with recurrent anterior shoulder instability with a clear capsulolabral lesion and no significant bony defects in the glenoid. The chapter focuses on a clinical evaluation of the patient and a step-by-step description of the surgical procedure. The objective of the repair is to reconstruct the labrum and the capsule with an inferior-to-superior capsular shift, restoring the tension of the anteroinferior capsule.
