In fertility treatment, assisted reproductive technologies (ART) are central for both female and male causes of infertility. This chapter discusses surgical options such as operative treatment for endometriosis, reversal of sterilization, and uterine abnormalities, as well as ovarian stimulation therapy in the context of ART. Risks, such as ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), are also explained, and the incidence of multiple pregnancies is provided.
