For Part V, I also recommend a popular science book titled “Black Holes and Time Warps” by Kip Thorne [34]. It describes in detail over 700 pages the subareas of gravitational waves, star collapse, stellar interiors, and especially black holes, but also the classical topics from Part IV are discussed in detail. The book, like Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time [16]”, comes without formulas and also deals (quite seriously) with phenomena known from science fiction literature such as wormholes and time travel.

摘要

For Part V, I also recommend a popular science book titled “Black Holes and Time Warps” by Kip Thorne [34]. It describes in detail over 700 pages the subareas of gravitational waves, star collapse, stellar interiors, and especially black holes, but also the classical topics from Part IV are discussed in detail. The book, like Hawking’s “A Brief History of Time [16]”, comes without formulas and also deals (quite seriously) with phenomena known from science fiction literature such as wormholes and time travel.
