Acute Arterial Occlusion of the Arm
摘要
In clinical jargon, the “acute occlusion” of the arm is referred to as a “cold arm” and represents a typical, though significantly less common, emergency compared to acute occlusion of a leg artery. Almost without exception, it is caused by an arterial embolism originating from the heart, typically due to atrial fibrillation or a ventricular aneurysm.
